Volunteer With BPA

Volunteering with Business Professionals of America is your chance to support the next generation of leaders. Whether you’re an industry professional, BPA alum, or someone who just wants to give back, we offer opportunities to match your time, skills, and interests.

Judge Competitive Events

Each year at the National Leadership Conference, BPA hosts competitive events where students demonstrate their skills in business, technology, finance, communications, and more.

Volunteer judges play a key role in evaluating student presentations, providing feedback, and giving participants a taste of real-world expectations. Your perspective helps students grow, gain confidence, and prepare for their future careers. Judging requires just a few hours and is one of the most impactful ways to get involved.

Support Local Chapters and State Events

BPA relies on volunteers to make local and state activities successful. You can help at conferences by managing registration, leading workshops, or helping behind the scenes.

If you want to work more directly with students, you can support them as they prepare for competitions or mentor them during events. You can also assist chapter advisors with planning, speaking at meetings, or coordinating chapter activities. Whether you’re helping for a few hours or staying involved year-round, your support helps students thrive and chapters grow.

Volunteer Remotely

If you’re not able to join us in person, there are still ways to contribute. Lend your skills to national projects, assist with our outreach campaigns, or help with administrative tasks — no matter where you live.

Host a Special Event

Take the lead in planning a fundraiser, networking event, or community workshop. These events raise awareness, build support for BPA programs, and directly benefit student scholarships.
