Even if there’s no local BPA chapter at your school, you can still be part of the nation’s leading student organization for business, finance, IT, and marketing. BPA’s National Virtual Chapter connects you to the same programs, competitions, and leadership opportunities—no matter where you live.
Competition Pathways
Virtual chapter members have clear routes to participate and advance in BPA competitions. Here’s how it works:
Direct Advancement to Nationals
Members of the National Virtual Chapter advance directly to the National Leadership Conference based on state-level competitive event allocations. Virtual Chapters receive the same number of advancement slots as any independently chartered State Association.
State-Affiliated Virtual Members
Students who join a State Association as virtual members are included in that state’s allocation. For example, Texas Virtual Members advance through competition alongside other Secondary Members in their state.
