About the Student Leadership Summit

Business Professionals of America invites Secondary and Postsecondary student members to participate in the second annual Student Leadership Summit.

This multi-day event unites student leaders nationwide for interactive sessions that strengthen leadership, teamwork, and communication skills — preparing them to lead confidently and create positive change within BPA.

Join representatives from the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) for an engaging and interactive session focused on the power of advocacy in advancing Career and Technical Education (CTE). Led by Jimmy Koch, ACTE’s Government Relations Manager, and Abby Jablonski, Media and Advocacy Coordinator, this session will equip student leaders with practical strategies to effectively share their CTE stories, influence policy decisions, and amplify their impact through media channels. Drawing from their extensive experience working with national CTSOs and student officers, Jimmy and Abby will offer real-world insights into how student voices shape CTE policy at the local, state, and national levels. Whether you’re new to advocacy or looking to sharpen your skills, this session will leave you inspired and empowered to take action.

The summit is open to state, regional, and chapter officers, as well as aspiring student leaders eager to make an impact within BPA. Advisors are also encouraged to attend and take advantage of professional development sessions designed to enhance classroom instruction, chapter management, and mentorship.

Registration Fee | $20 per person / $100 per chapter

The registration fee applies to student members, and advisors. Visit shop.bpa.org and select the Student Leadership Summit to pay for registration for you or your chapter.
