About the Summer Meeting
The Summer Meeting brings together BPA’s key councils, educators, state advisors, and board members each July. Serving as a cornerstone for collaboration, strategy, and innovation, the Summer Meeting offers leaders the opportunity to review initiatives, assess performance, and chart the path for BPA’s continued growth.
Who Attends
Classroom Educators Advisory Council (CEAC)
The Classroom Educators Advisory Council meets during the Summer Meeting to review the Workplace Skills Assessment Program (WSAP) and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees. CEAC plays a vital role in ensuring BPA’s programs remain relevant, educationally sound, and impactful for students.
State Association Advisory Council (SAAC)
The State Association Advisory Council convenes to review BPA policies, share insights from across state chapters, and present formal recommendations to the Board of Trustees. SAAC ensures collaboration and alignment between state and national leadership to advance BPA’s mission.
Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees conducts its annual meeting during the Summer Meeting to oversee BPA’s strategic direction. This session focuses on setting organizational priorities, approving recommendations from advisory councils, and establishing long-term goals to ensure BPA’s continued success.
